...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THURSDAY MORNING...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL Counties.

Rock River near Joslin affecting Whiteside, Rock Island and Henry
IL Counties.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Rock River at Moline.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. In Moline, water
affects homes on South Shore Drive and cuts off access to homes
east of the I-74 bridge. Water also affects 49th Avenue south of
the theater.  Water affects Vandruff Island.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Information:
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
