Illinois...Missouri...

Mississippi River at Canton.

Mississippi River at Saverton.

Mississippi River at Winfield.

Mississippi River at Hannibal.

Mississippi River at Clarksville.

Mississippi River at Louisiana.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Both banks begin to overflow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.0 feet and falling.
- Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage on April 18.
It crested near 16.0 feet on April 19.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tonight and continue falling over the coming days.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
