Wabash River at New Harmony. .Due to recent heavy rainfall, the Wabash River will continue rising to a crest of 18.2 feet Sunday afternoon. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony. * WHEN...Until Saturday, March 21. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Harmonie State Park is closed. Surrounding bottomland is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.2 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, March 21. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
