...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the following
county, Labette.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 213 AM CDT, Law enforcement reports that there are still
roads covered with water across the northern part of Labette
County, including around Parsons.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Parsons, Labette, Dennis, Big Hill Lake and Parsons Tri City
Airport.

Information:

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
