...LOW WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO 4 AM EDT SATURDAY... ...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO 4 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...During the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water
levels expected. During the Gale Warning, expect sustained winds
up to 29 knots from the south, veering to west with gusts up to
45 knots. The largest significant waves will be 6 feet with a
potential maximum wave height of 8 feet.

* WHERE...Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to
North Cape MI.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 8 AM EDT Friday
with the largest waves expected around 9 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong west to southwest winds will cause
water levels across the western basin to fall 1 to 2 feet below
low water datum. The critical mark for safe navigation is
currently 6 inches below low water datum. Low probability exists
for gusts up to 50 knots Friday morning.

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
