...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 PM EDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches. Higher amounts up to 14 inches possible in the higher terrain of the Keweenaw. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties. * WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 2 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated power outages are possible due to strong winds.
