...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

North Platte River at Lewellen affecting Garden and Keith
Counties.

.An ice jam will cause water to infiltrate the lowlands along the
river.

For the North Platte River...including Lisco, Lewellen...elevated
river levels are forecast.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues.

* WHERE...North Platte River at Lewellen.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Overflow and high water
table levels may cause seepage and flooding of basements and crawl
spaces near and along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 PM MST Sunday the stage was 7.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 7.8 feet
until further notice. Fluctuations up to 1 foot are possible
as the river thaws and re-freezes.
- Action stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
