...FLOOD WARNING FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

North Platte River near Lisco affecting Garden County.

.An ice jam will cause water to infiltrate the lowlands along the
river.

For the North Platte River...including Lisco...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...North Platte River near Lisco.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Minor flooding with
substantial low lying areas flooded along the south side of the
river. Flooding begins along the north side of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM MST Monday the stage was 4.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 3.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
stage at 4.1 feet. Some fluctuation is expected due to ice
jamming.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
4.4 feet on 06/18/1984.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
