...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and light icing possible. Total snow
accumulations between 4 and 6 inches and ice accumulations of a
light glaze possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph and lead
to blowing snow and poor visibility.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
central and northeast Nebraska.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday evening commute and holiday travel.
