...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING... ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce vsby to
less than 1 nm. For the Small Craft Advisory, NW winds 15 to 20
kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected.

* WHERE...Long Island Sound from Port Jefferson and New Haven
east to Orient Point and the Connecticut River, and Peconic
and Gardiners Bays.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM EDT this
morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 AM this morning
to 3 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low vsby
will make navigation difficult.

Information:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
