Little Wabash River at Carmi. .Recent heavy rainfall is causing the Little Wabash River to rise, with an expected crest at Carmi just 27.3 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Wabash River at Carmi. * WHEN...Until Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The inundation of county roads begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.3 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
