...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW MAY CONTINUE FOR ONE TO TWO MORE HOURS... Localized heavy snow has lead to accumulating snow of 1 to 2 inches on roadways in counties of the New river Valley and along the Blue Ridge in Floyd, Carroll, and Grayson county. Snowfall should start to diminish in intensity over the next 1 to 2 hours across the area with additional accumulations of up to half an inch possible. Dissruptions to travel may occur until the heavy snow stops. Melting of snow on roadways is expected given warm temperatures that occurred over the last several days.
