...Light snow accumulations taper off tonight... Snow showers will continue to bring light snow accumulations of up to an inch or so to the western mountains of North Carolina and Virginia, as well as the Greenbrier Valley in West Virginia this evening. Areas that are directly on the upslope side of the mountains may see slightly higher values than the 1 inch mentioned above. Be prepared for slick spots on untreated roads, particularly on bridges and overpasses. Please allow extra time to reach your destination.
