...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Significant icing. Additional ice accumulations of one
tenth to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Northern Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook, Northern
Piscataquis, and Northern Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning. Temperatures rise above
freezing after 9 AM and precipitation ends.

* IMPACTS...Difficult travel conditions are expected. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Thursday morning commute.

Information:
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of ice will make
travel extremely dangerous.

Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden
changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the
motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your
destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially
cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is
winterized and in good working order.
